Bolton Wanderers have been given the go-ahead to play matches at home until the end of the season after a prohibition notice was withdrawn.
There was the potential that the club may have been forced to play their next two Championship matches at the University of Bolton Stadium behind closed doors.
Bolton had been placed under a prohibition notice by the region̢۪s safety advisory group (SAG), comprising of representatives of the local council, police and emergency services, under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.
SAG deemed fans’ safety would not be guaranteed.
However, the club have managed to ‘reassure’ the group, resulting in the notice being llifted.
