There are 106 sports teams all over the world who are worth at least $1billion (Ă‚£753million).


However, not all of these clubs’ owners can be classed as billionaires as such, with debt and minority ownership knocking the numbers down.

In the latest findings released by Forbes up into this year, five of the top 20 richest clubs owners in the world come from the Premier League.


They hold court with wealthy backers of NHL, NFL, NBA, MLS, Formula 1 and cricket, but who are the English top-flight’s men with money?
