Manchester United have been hailed for the timing of their appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as permanent manager
The Red Devils announced on Thursday the Norwegian has signed a three-year deal as first-team head coach, after overseeing a remarkable transformation during his four months in charge as caretaker.
The news will delight many connected to the club, after United players past and present called for the Old Trafford legend to be given the job on a full-time basis.
And former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders has also praised the move, saying it comes at the perfect time as the new boss can now plan for a pivotal summer transfer window.
