Tottenham have reportedly entered the race for Joachim Andersen so will battle Arsenal for his signature.
The Denmark centre-back is said to have been the subject of two Arsenal bids already this summer, with the Gunners putting in a second €50million offer for Andersen and his Sampdoria team-mate Dennis Praet earlier this week.
Samp are said to be ready to accept the bid, but Tottenham have made their interest in Andersen known, reports in Italy claim.
TuttoMercatoWeb say Spurs will push forward with their attempts to sign the defender by making a €25million offer over the coming days.
Arsenal have been backed to make a bid for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.
FootballScotland claim the Gunners are keen on the Scotland starlet and may ramp up their interest with an official offer if they lose Sead Kolasinac to Barcelona, who allegedly want to sign him this summer.
Lyon and Borussia Dortmund have been linked with Tierney as well as Arsenal, while Barcelona themselves are said to have considered the 22-year-old in the past.
Despite his youth, Tierney has already made 170 career appearances for Celtic and 12 for Scotland.
Arsenal and Lyon have made £12million bids for Emmanuel Dennis, the Nigerian striker who plays for Club Brugge.
The 21-year-old scored seven goals in Belgium's top flight last season, and has caught the eye of teams from across Europe.
Fanatik say Fenerbahce are also keen on the young forward, though only the Gunners and Lyon have actually submitted offers so far.
Unai Emery is keen on bringing a new striker to the Emirates this summer, with Danny Welbeck leaving and doubts over the futures of first-choice pair Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
Unai Emery has launched an end-of-season inquest into why Arsenal finished the campaign in disastrous fashion.
The Gunners won just one of their last five Premier League games and also lost the Europa League final, blowing their chances of securing Champions League football.
And, according to the Daily Mirror, Emery has been asking players, staff and his coaches for answers, clues and their views as to why Arsenal appeared to run out of steam in the final run-in.
Arsenal target Joachim Andersen could choose to join AC Milan over the Gunners, if his current Sampdoria boss takes over at the San Siro.
The Gunners have been linked with a £40m double swoop for the Danish defender and his team-mate Dennis Praet, who is seen as a replacement for Aaron Ramsey.
But 23-year-old Andersen has hinted he could join Marco Giampaolo in Milan, should he leave Sampdoria to succeed Gennaro Guttuso.
“I haven’t read much in media about Giampaolo leaving, but I’m happy for him,” he told EkstraBladet.
“I’m also a little disappointed as he’s leaving. If I dream of joining him? I can’t respond to that and I don’t know my future, but Milan is a great club.”
It is claimed Arsenal are close to signing Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco, from Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.
The 25-year-old was linked with a move to the Emirates in January, but they opted to sign Denis Suarez on loan from Barcelona instead.
But now, Carrasco has revealed he is in talks over a move away from China and the Daily Mirror claim that club is Arsenal.
Speaking to Belgian website Nieuwsblad, Carrasco said: “There is now an offer on the table and the negotiations with my agent are progressing well.
“I am the most important player in the club, but I hope the chairman understands me.”
Arsenal are worried they may lose out on William Saliba.
According to the Sun, the Gunners have rejected the chance to sign him because Saint-Etienne are currently only willing to accept a deal which sees the 18-year-old centre-back return to them on loan next season.
Unai Emery is very keen on the £25million-rated Frenchman, but so are Manchester City.
Sead Kolasinac is reportedly on Barcelona’s shortlist as a potential new left-back signing.
It’s claimed by Mundo Deportivo that the Blaugrana want another defender to provide competition for Jordi Alba.
Arsenal would supposedly part ways with the Bosnian for around £20million.
Arsenal reportedly submitted a bid to Sampdoria for Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet earlier this week that was rejected.
Their €42million offer for the pair did not meet Samp's asking price, but the Gunners will later today increase their bid to €50million.
According to SampNews, this offer will be enough for Sampdoria, with president Massimo Ferrero ready to accept the improved bid for Andersen and Praet.
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Fyodor Chalov, the 21-year-old who finished the season as top scorer in the Russia Premier League.
The CSKA forward netted 15 times in 30 games, and his fine form has caught the attention of many clubs, Sky Sports report.
Arsenal are one team in for the youngster amid doubts over the futures of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who have both been linked with summer moves away from the Emirates.
Arsenal have enquired over the possibility of signing Moussa Dembele, the Lyon striker, reports claim.
L'Equipe, via Inside Futbol, say the Gunners are battling Liverpool, Man United and Barcelona for the former Celtic forward's signature, with all four clubs approaching Lyon over a deal.
Dembele, 22, scored 20 goals in his debut season with the French club, and has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League.
The forward began his career at Fulham and actually played twice in England's top flight while with the Cottagers.
Former Premier League star Clinton Morrison has told talkSPORT Daniel Sturridge 'could' join Arsenal after his release by Liverpool.
Sturridge will depart Anfield at the end of the month when his contract expires, and he's been linked with a host of clubs – both in England and abroad.
And Morrison believes he's still good enough for the Gunners.
“He’s the most naturally-gifted finisher I’ve seen,” the ex-Crystal Palace striker said. “He’s the most natural finisher in the Liverpool team, but you just can’t get him in that team because of the work-rate of Mane, Firmino and Salah.
“He’s had a lot of injuries, but I think he’d be a great addition for most Premier League teams.
“Maybe not in the top three or four, maybe not for Liverpool or Manchester City, but he could go to a team like Arsenal.”

Exequiel Palacios, the River Plate and Argentina midfielder, has confirmed Arsenal want to sign him.
Palace was linked with a move to north London last month, and one of South America's brightest prospect announced Arsenal's interest when asked about his future.
He did admit Real Madrid are also keen on his services, however.
“I’m proud clubs like Real Madrid and Arsenal are interested in me,” said Palacios.
Palacios has an £18m release clause in his River Plate contract, which makes him a relatively budget signing.
Arsenal have scouted Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba, who is a top target of Unai Emery's.
Goal say the 18-year-old is likely to leave the Ligue 1 club this summer as they know it will be hard to keep hold of such a bright talent.
The Gunners have taken a keen interest in the French youth international, who has made only 19 first-team appearances for Saint-Etienne.
He started 13 league matches in 2018/19 and caught the eye with some excellent performances.
Arsenal have bid £22million for Paris Saint-Germain and Belgium right-back Thomas Meunier, TMW claim.
The 27-year-old has been expected to depart PSG this summer with Man United also keen on him, but it appears the Gunners have made the first move.
Unai Emery wants to bolster his backline, and he knows Meunier well having signed him for PSG while in charge of the French club.
Meunier would likely join Arsenal and begin the 2019/20 season as first-choice right-back with Hector Bellerin currently sidelined by a long-term injury.
Arsenal legend David Seaman has revealed his ‘frustration’ with the club’s apparent lack of ambition and their measly transfer budget this summer.
Unai Emery has reportedly been granted just £40million to spend on strengthening his squad throughout the transfer window.
He could of course raise more cash by selling off some unwanted players, but the boss will struggle to find top-class talent in today’s market with such limited funds at his disposal.
Speaking on Wednesday’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Seaman said: “It’s so frustrating at Arsenal because the club is running on a good profit.
“The fans are frustrated at the moment, especially after the result in the Europa League final against Chelsea.
“They’re struggling. It’s just so frustrating being an Arsenal fan and an ex-Arsenal player at the moment.
“You know what the club is capable of, so you’re just like, ‘come on, let’s see what you’ve got!’”
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with a big-money move to the Chinese Super League – and he's just dropped a huge hint he may leave Arsenal.
CSL clubs are reportedly ready to pay £300,000-a-week to tempt Aubameyang to the Far East, and they are said to be optimistic he will agree to the switch.
And Gunners supporters are worried as Aubameyang has deleted all references to Arsenal from his Instagram profile, including the club's name in his bio, and his profile picture which showed him wearing one of the north Londoners' kits
Aubameyang has been backed to leave the Emirates this summer following Arsenal's failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Reports in Germany claim Arsenal are considering a move for Mario Gotze.
Gotze, the 2014 World Cup winner, has never fulfilled the potential he showed as a youngster, though he enjoyed a relatively prolific season with Borussia Dortmund, scoring seven goals and creating a further seven.
The 27-year-old's contract expires at the end of next season, and Bild say the Gunners want to take advantage of his situation by securing his services in a cut-price deal.
However, Michael Zorc, the Dortmund sporting director, has played down the chances of Gotze leaving this summer.
“For years we’ve known the rumours from England that come over to us,” he said. “As always, we are relaxed. Because we are in a good exchange with Mario’s father and his adviser.”
Arsenal could make a surprise move for Liverpool flop Alberto Moreno when he leaves Anfield at the end of the season.
The Spanish left-back will depart the Reds when his contract expires, and the Daily Mirror claim Unai Emery is keen on him.
Emery has previously worked with Moreno when the pair were together at Sevilla, and he may swoop for a new left-back with doubts over Nacho Monreal's future in north London.
Moreno's time as a Liverpool player will officially end on the final day of this month, and he is joined in departing Anfield on a free transfer by Daniel Sturridge.
Barcelona centre-back Samuel Umtiti is Unai Emery’s number one defensive target this summer, according to reports.
However, the club have also scouted RB Leipzig's 20-year-old centre-back Dayot Upamecano, in case a deal for Umtiti cannot be struck.
The Mirror report the Gunners sent a scout to watch the France U21 international in action in a 30-year-old over Belgium in Le Mans on Monday.
Upamecano is under contract until 2021 and has been offered a new deal by Leipzig but is yet to sign it and could be tempted by the lure of the Premier League.
Arsenal legend Freddie Ljungberg is set to join Unai Emery's first-team coaching staff next season.
The former Sweden midfielder returned to the club as under-23s coach last summer after a spell in Germany on Wolfsburg’s staff.
And he appears to have has made a big impression on Emery, with The Times reporting he will be promoted to first-team coach as part of a reshuffle in the Emirates dugout.
Coaches Juan Carlos Carcedo and Pablo Villanueva, who followed Emery from PSG last summer, will remain in their existing roles, with Ljungberg viewed as a significant addition.
Assistant coach Steve Bould will also stay on at the club, although he may be given a different role which is still being discussed.
Arsenal are ready to blow the majority of their summer transfer budget on Sampdoria duo Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen.
Manager Unai Emery will reportedly only have around £40million to spend this summer after missing out on Champions League football.
And The Sun claim Emery is now ready to launch a £37m bid to sign the Serie A pair.
Praet, 25, (pictured below) is being eyed as a direct replacement for Aaron Ramsey who left to join Juventus on a free transfer this summer.
Central defender Andersen, 23, has also been for a big move across Europe this season, with Man United, Tottenham and AC Milan also linked with an interest.
Unai Emery may offload FOUR players this summer as he plans a major rebuild of Arsenal's squad.
Stephan Lichtsteiner has already confirmed he will leave the Emirates when his contract expires at the end of the month, and fellow defenders Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal could follow the Switzerland international out the door.
The Mirror claim Arsenal have just £40million to spend this summer after missing out on Champions League qualification, and Emery must sell if he wants extra funds on top of this measly transfer budget.
Arsenal will hold talks with Alexandre Lacazette as doubts remain over his future at the Emirates.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are both said to be looking at the France forward, and they can offer Lacazette something Arsenal cannot – Champions League football.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also linked with an exit from Arsenal, the Standard say club chiefs plan to hold discussions with Lacazette over the coming weeks to clear up his situation.
Lacazette is contracted to the Gunners until 2022, and he scored 13 Premier League goals in 2018/19.
Gabriel Martinelli is set to become Arsenal's first signing of the summer in a £6million deal, reports claim.
Football.London say the 17-year-old Brazil forward will join the Gunners when he turns 18 later this month, as a £6million fee has been agreed with his current club Ituano.
They had originally wanted around £10million for the forward, but Arsenal have managed to lower the asking price by almost half.
The youngster has a growing reputation in his homeland, and he has been tipped to make his debut for Arsenal in their first pre-season friendly – which pits a Gunners XI against Boreham Wood on July 8.
