Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu says he ‘knows what will happen’ with Liverpool and Manchester United transfer target Matthijs de Ligt.
The Ajax defender has been linked with a £75million move to the Premier League after impressing in the Champions League.
He was part of the side that knocked Real Madrid out of the competition last month.
Bartomeu, who is understood to be an admirer of De Ligt, told ESPN:Â “There will be time to speak about him.
“Each year the club has an interest in making signings and this summer will be the same.
“De Ligt, like the other best players, is on the table.
“He is a great player and a great centre-back. I know what will happen with him but it’s not the moment [to talk].”
De Ligt is seen as a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique, who turns 33 next year.
But the 19-year-old has admitted he could leave Ajax for Juventus.
He said: “I really like [Giorgio] Chiellini, he is very strong, one of the best ever defenders.
